Although I am not at all satisfied by the end product, working with oil pastels was rather enjoyable and taught me a lesson or two on color theory and blending. I will definitely explore further.
Grey and dump outside, the trees are giving the last splash of auburn and maroon and I am snuggled in my warm sweater waiting for the bread to raise.
A few photographs of the fall colors are lying on my desktop and I will soon be sitting at my easel having fun with an Acrylic experiment.
Days like these are dear to my heart; when everything is calm inside and silence is a welcomed friend to share the beauty of the world with.
Everything feels so gentle and a creative river comes gushing down filling up my mind.
It is a kind of magic that is hard to explain but for which I am very thankful.
